Pico De Gallo
Ingredients
- 3 Roma tomatoes or 1 large tomato diced
- 1 small white onion finely diced
- 1 - 2 jalapenos, seeds and ribs removed OR 1 serrano pepper for spicier flavor
- 1 small bunch of cilantro chopped
- juice of 1 lime
- 1 tsp canola oil
- pinch of sugar or 1 tsp agave nectar
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients into a bowl and toss with a spoon. Taste for seasoning and add as needed.
- Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
