Garlic Butter Quick Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
  • 1/2 tsp granulated garlic
  • 2 tsp dried parsley
  • 2 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 3/4 cup buttermilk

Instructions
 

  • Grease an 8x8 inch cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper. Grease the parchment paper.
  • Put the butter in a bowl and melt in the microwave. Mix in the garlic and 1 teaspoon of dried parsley.
  • Pour the butter into the baking dish.
  • Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and the remaining teaspoon of dried parsley in a mixing bowl.
  • Stir in the buttermilk to get a thick batter.
  • Pour the batter into the baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • Use a knife and score the bread so it makes 9 pieces.
  • Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20-25 minutes. The bread will have risen and be golden when it's ready.
  • Let it cool for 10 minutes in the dish then turn it out onto a wire rack to finish cooling. Serve warm or room temperature.
