In a mixing bowl, add brown sugar and peppers; stir together with a fork.
Separate bacon slices. Working with one slice at a time, dredge the bacon in the brown sugar mixture and press the sugar against the bacon to ensure it’s fully coated.
Arrange bacon in a single layer on the rack. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp but not burnt.
Using tongs, transfer the bacon to a piece of parchment to cool completely, about 15 minutes.
